Pastor Eric starts a new series on transitions at Grace Valley. As Pastor Jake enters retirement, what does it mean for us as a church? Jesus in teaching about new wine and new wine skins, shows that we aren’t turning our back on the past by embracing something new, but by changing at the right time and for the right reasons, we can actually honor the past.

Today we celebrated Pastor Jake and his wife Priscilla, for serving our church for 19 years. Their service and leadership have been a blessing to us, and we thank them for all of the ways they have proclaimed the good news of the Gospel.

This week we welcomed Forreston High School’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes Group to lead us in worship. Their band led us in singing, they had two students share testimonies of how God has used FCA, and Jake Groom, their leader preached. We are thankful for the way they are following Jesus in their school.
